Pharmaceutical Industry Seminar and Workshop - Friday, March 16, 2007
Seminars presented by Microfluidics, Horiba, and Dispersion Technology

Microfluidics will present a seminar on high pressure homogenization using the Microfluidizer® processor in applications such as vaccines and drug delivery agents. New products and accessories are used for cell disruption, particle size reduction, nano-suspensions, micro-emulsions, and encapsulations. The Microfluidizer processor is scaleble from R&D through production.

Horiba will present a seminar on laser particle size analysis, discussing historical advances, basic theory and applications, while providing insight on how to develop methods that will deliver both accurate and reproducible results. Horiba will also present their current range of products including the LA-950 and discuss the many unique benefits incorporated into each of their products. A laser particle analyzer will be available for demonstration. For more information, visit: http://lab.hii.horiba.com

Dispersion Technology will present a seminar on ultrasound based techniques for Zeta Potential and particle size distribution determination. For more information, visit: http://www.dispersion.com
