New Ultra-Clean-in-Place Option Accelerates Microfluidizer® Processor Cleaning

Cleaning between product batches is now faster and easier with the new Ultra-Clean-in-Place (UCIP) feature available as an option or retrofit for M-210, M-610 and M-700 series Microfluidics Microfluidizer processors. This new feature saves time by increasing the velocities of cleaning solutions through the processor’s interaction chamber, re-routes the solution upstream and downstream of the chamber, then flushes the interaction chamber a second time (See Figure 1). Bypass valves are manually or computer activated. The entire cleaning process requires no disassembly.

UCIP is ideal for hard-to-clean products or for cleaning in between different product batches in quick succession for the biotechnology, chemical processing, cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries.

The latest M-700 Microfluidizer series which is offered with the UCIP option is now available as standard in all stainless steel construction at no extra cost.

Microfluidics’ patented process technology reduces particles to uniform, sub-micron sizes by creating the highest shear rates available on the market today. Resultant emulsions and suspensions are more stable and final products offer exceptional performance. Scaleup from lab to full production is guaranteed.
